PantriApp SMS Communications & Consent Policy
Version 1.0 • Effective June 30, 2026
Last Updated: June 30, 2026
Pantri App Inc. ("PantriApp," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing transparent, responsible, and legally compliant SMS (Short Message Service) communications to customers, service providers, and authorized users of the PantriApp platform.
This SMS Communications & Consent Policy ("SMS Consent Policy") explains how PantriApp obtains, records, manages, and honors user consent for SMS communications. It also explains the rights and choices available to users regarding transactional and marketing text messages delivered by or on behalf of PantriApp.
PantriApp sends SMS messages for two distinct purposes: transactional communications that support your account or requested services, and marketing communications that provide information regarding promotions, rewards, memberships, new products, feature announcements, and other optional marketing content. These categories are managed independently and are subject to different consent requirements under applicable law.
This Policy should be read together with the PantriApp Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Together, these documents describe how PantriApp collects, processes, stores, protects, and uses information related to SMS communications while explaining the communication choices available to every user of the Platform.
PantriApp is committed to maintaining SMS communication practices that are consistent with applicable federal and state laws, industry standards, and mobile carrier requirements. Our SMS program is designed to operate in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, applicable wireless carrier messaging requirements, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and other applicable privacy and consumer protection laws as they evolve.
Consent to receive SMS marketing communications is never a condition of creating a PantriApp account, purchasing a membership, booking a household service, or using any feature of the Platform. Users are free to use PantriApp regardless of whether they choose to receive optional marketing text messages.
PantriApp uses SMS (Short Message Service) communications to provide timely information related to your account, household services, and interactions with the Platform. SMS communications are designed to improve the user experience by providing important updates directly to your mobile device when immediate or convenient notification is appropriate.
PantriApp delivers two categories of SMS communications: Transactional SMS Messages and Marketing SMS Messages. These categories serve different purposes and are governed by different consent requirements. Transactional messages support the operation of your account and requested services, while marketing messages promote optional products, memberships, rewards, or future offerings. PantriApp maintains separate consent practices for each category in accordance with applicable laws and industry requirements.
Transactional SMS messages are service-related communications that help operate your PantriApp account or facilitate services you have requested through the Platform. These communications are intended to provide important operational information rather than promote products or services.
Depending upon your activity within the Platform, transactional communications may include account notifications, one-time verification codes, password reset codes, account security alerts, booking confirmations, appointment reminders, provider arrival notifications, grocery delivery updates, chef service notifications, laundry pickup and delivery updates, billing notifications, customer support communications, and other operational messages necessary to provide requested services.
Because these communications relate directly to your account or requested services, they may be sent without separate marketing consent where permitted by applicable law. Users who no longer wish to receive these communications may need to discontinue use of certain Platform features or close their PantriApp account, as some transactional communications are essential to providing requested services safely and effectively.
Marketing SMS messages provide optional information about PantriApp products, memberships, rewards, promotional offers, feature announcements, service launches, household tips, educational content, and other communications intended to inform users about opportunities available through the Platform.
PantriApp sends marketing SMS messages only to users who have provided express written consent through the methods described in this Policy. Marketing communications are entirely optional and are never required to create an account, purchase a membership, book household services, or continue using the Platform.
Users may withdraw consent for marketing SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a marketing text message, requesting assistance by replying HELP, or updating their communication preferences within their PantriApp account settings.
PantriApp obtains express written consent before sending marketing SMS communications to any user. Marketing consent is collected separately from acceptance of the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, account registration, or any purchase of services. Users are never automatically enrolled in SMS marketing communications and must take an affirmative action to opt in.
Consent is obtained through an independent SMS marketing consent checkbox presented during account registration or within the user's PantriApp account settings. The checkbox is unchecked by default, and users must voluntarily select the checkbox before marketing SMS communications may be sent. PantriApp does not use pre-checked boxes, implied consent, deceptive enrollment practices, or bundled consent that combines marketing communications with acceptance of other agreements.
At the time consent is requested, PantriApp clearly informs users that they are agreeing to receive recurring marketing text messages from PantriApp, that message frequency may vary depending on their activity and preferences, that standard message and data rates may apply, and that consent is not a condition of purchasing or using any PantriApp products or services.
Users are also informed that they may withdraw marketing consent at any time by replying STOP to any marketing text message, replying HELP for assistance, or updating their communication preferences within their PantriApp account. PantriApp honors opt-out requests promptly in accordance with applicable laws, mobile carrier requirements, and industry best practices.
PantriApp maintains records of marketing consent as part of each user's account information. Where applicable, these records may include the user's consent status, communication preferences, consent method, and other information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging regulations, carrier requirements, and internal compliance procedures.
Users who do not provide express written consent will continue to receive only those transactional SMS communications that are necessary to support their account, requested services, bookings, security, or other operational functions, as permitted by applicable law.
PantriApp has implemented an SMS marketing opt-in process designed to ensure that consent is informed, voluntary, documented, and consistent with applicable messaging laws, industry standards, and mobile carrier requirements. Marketing SMS communications are sent only after a user has completed the opt-in process described in this section.
During account registration, or at any time thereafter through the user's PantriApp account settings, users may choose whether they wish to receive marketing SMS communications from PantriApp. The decision to participate in marketing communications is entirely optional and is not required to create an account, purchase a membership, request household services, or continue using the Platform.
Users who wish to receive marketing SMS communications must actively provide consent by selecting a dedicated SMS marketing consent checkbox. This checkbox is presented independently from acceptance of the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or other Platform agreements and remains unchecked by default until the user voluntarily elects to participate.
Before consent is provided, PantriApp clearly informs users that they are agreeing to receive recurring marketing text messages from PantriApp, that message frequency may vary depending upon their account activity and communication preferences, that standard message and data rates may apply according to their mobile carrier, and that they may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, replying HELP for assistance, or updating their communication preferences within the Platform.
Once the user has voluntarily opted in, PantriApp records the user's marketing consent status as part of the user's account information. Consent records are maintained to help demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging regulations, carrier requirements, and PantriApp's internal compliance procedures. These records may include the consent method, communication preferences, consent status, and other information reasonably necessary to document the user's authorization to receive marketing SMS communications.
Users remain in complete control of their communication preferences. Marketing consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the user's ability to access the Platform or utilize household services. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not prevent PantriApp from sending transactional SMS communications that are necessary to support the user's account, requested services, bookings, security, or other operational activities permitted by applicable law.
PantriApp periodically reviews its SMS enrollment practices to help ensure continued compliance with evolving legal requirements, mobile carrier policies, and industry best practices. Any material changes to the SMS consent process will be communicated to users through the methods described in this Policy.
Transactional SMS communications are text messages that support the operation of your PantriApp account or facilitate household services that you have requested through the Platform. These communications provide important operational information necessary to authenticate your identity, protect your account, coordinate requested services, deliver timely updates, and improve your overall experience while using PantriApp.
Because transactional SMS communications relate directly to your account or services you have requested, these messages are not considered marketing communications. Accordingly, they may be sent without separate marketing consent where permitted under applicable federal and state laws, industry standards, and mobile carrier requirements.
Depending upon your activity within the Platform, transactional SMS communications may include, but are not limited to:
Transactional SMS communications are sent only when reasonably necessary to support your account, maintain Platform security, coordinate requested household services, satisfy legal obligations, or fulfill other legitimate operational purposes. PantriApp does not use transactional SMS communications as a substitute for marketing messages and does not include promotional content in messages that are intended solely for operational purposes.
Users who choose not to receive marketing SMS communications may continue to receive transactional SMS messages that are necessary to operate their account or deliver requested services. Certain transactional communications may be essential for account security, booking coordination, fraud prevention, or successful completion of household services available through the Platform.
PantriApp continually reviews transactional messaging practices to help ensure that operational text messages remain limited to legitimate service-related communications and continue to comply with applicable laws, carrier requirements, and evolving industry best practices.
Marketing SMS communications are optional text messages that provide information about PantriApp products, services, memberships, promotions, rewards, feature announcements, household insights, and other communications intended to keep users informed about opportunities available through the Platform. Unlike transactional communications, marketing SMS messages are promotional in nature and are sent only after a user has provided express written consent as described in this Policy.
PantriApp respects every user's communication preferences. Marketing text messages are never required to create a PantriApp account, purchase a membership, request household services, or continue using the Platform. Users who choose not to receive marketing SMS communications will continue to have full access to PantriApp and its available services.
Depending upon your communication preferences and the services you use, marketing SMS communications may include, but are not limited to:
Marketing SMS communications are delivered only to users who have voluntarily opted in through PantriApp's SMS marketing consent process. PantriApp does not purchase third-party marketing lists, send unsolicited text message advertisements, or enroll users in marketing campaigns without their affirmative consent.
Users may withdraw marketing consent at any time by replying STOP to any marketing text message, replying HELP for assistance, or updating their SMS communication preferences within their PantriApp account settings. Opt-out requests are processed promptly, and once marketing consent has been withdrawn, PantriApp will no longer send marketing SMS communications to that mobile number unless the user subsequently provides new express written consent.
PantriApp periodically reviews its marketing communication practices to help ensure continued compliance with applicable federal and state laws, mobile carrier messaging requirements, and evolving industry standards. Marketing campaigns are subject to internal compliance review before distribution to help ensure that messaging remains accurate, transparent, and consistent with the communication preferences selected by each user.
PantriApp respects every user's right to control how they receive communications. Users may withdraw their consent to receive marketing SMS communications at any time. Opting out of marketing messages is free, simple, and does not affect a user's ability to access their PantriApp account, book household services, maintain an active membership, or continue using the Platform.
Users may opt out of marketing SMS communications by replying STOP to any PantriApp marketing text message, updating their communication preferences within their PantriApp account settings, or contacting PantriApp Customer Support for assistance. PantriApp processes opt-out requests promptly in accordance with applicable laws, wireless carrier requirements, and industry best practices.
Once an opt-out request has been processed, the affected mobile number will no longer receive marketing SMS communications from PantriApp unless the user later provides new express written consent through an approved opt-in process. PantriApp does not override, ignore, or invalidate a user's opt-out request unless the user voluntarily chooses to opt back in.
Opting out of marketing SMS communications does not prevent PantriApp from sending transactional SMS messages that are necessary to support your account, authenticate your identity, coordinate requested household services, provide booking confirmations, deliver appointment reminders, communicate provider arrival updates, issue billing notifications, respond to customer support requests, or deliver other operational communications permitted by applicable law.
Users who previously opted out of marketing SMS communications may choose to resume receiving those communications by updating their SMS communication preferences within their PantriApp account or by completing a new express written consent process. Marketing communications will not resume until PantriApp has recorded the user's renewed consent.
PantriApp maintains records of opt-out requests as part of its communication preference management process. These records help ensure that future marketing campaigns honor user preferences and demonstrate PantriApp's ongoing compliance with applicable messaging laws, carrier policies, and internal communication standards.
If a user believes they continue to receive marketing SMS messages after submitting an opt-out request, they should contact PantriApp Customer Support immediately so the matter can be investigated and resolved promptly. PantriApp is committed to correcting any communication preference issues as quickly as reasonably possible.
PantriApp is committed to providing users with convenient access to assistance regarding SMS communications. Users who have questions about text messages received from PantriApp, communication preferences, account notifications, or marketing consent may request assistance at any time by replying HELP to a PantriApp SMS message or by contacting PantriApp Customer Support directly.
When a user replies HELP, PantriApp provides information intended to assist the user in understanding the SMS program, including how to stop receiving marketing text messages, where additional assistance may be obtained, and where users may review PantriApp's Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and SMS Consent Policy. HELP responses are informational in nature and are not used to enroll users in marketing communications or modify existing communication preferences unless expressly requested by the user.
Users requesting assistance may receive information regarding supported SMS commands, communication preferences, message frequency, applicable message and data rate disclosures, and available customer support resources. Where appropriate, users may also be directed to their PantriApp account settings, where they can review and update communication preferences associated with their account.
Users who require additional assistance beyond the automated HELP response may contact PantriApp Customer Support using the contact information provided at the end of this Policy. Customer Support can assist users with questions regarding SMS communications, marketing consent, opt-in and opt-out requests, communication preferences, account notifications, and other matters related to PantriApp's SMS program.
PantriApp periodically reviews HELP responses and customer support procedures to help ensure they remain accurate, informative, and consistent with applicable messaging regulations, wireless carrier requirements, and evolving industry best practices. Our goal is to provide users with timely assistance while maintaining transparency regarding how SMS communications are delivered and managed.
PantriApp believes that users should always have a clear and accessible method of obtaining assistance regarding SMS communications. Providing responsive customer support and honoring communication preferences are fundamental components of our ongoing commitment to transparency, consumer trust, and regulatory compliance.
The number of SMS messages you receive from PantriApp depends upon your relationship with the Platform, the services you request, your communication preferences, and your level of activity. PantriApp does not send text messages according to a fixed schedule. Instead, SMS communications are generated only when appropriate to support your account, requested household services, or communication preferences.
Users who have elected to receive only transactional SMS communications will receive messages as needed to facilitate account security, authentication, bookings, appointment reminders, provider arrival notifications, laundry updates, grocery and chef service notifications, billing communications, customer support, and other operational activities associated with their use of the Platform. The frequency of these communications varies according to individual account activity and the services requested.
Users who have voluntarily opted in to receive marketing SMS communications may receive additional text messages regarding promotions, rewards, memberships, feature announcements, household intelligence updates, educational content, service launches, and other marketing communications. Marketing message frequency also varies and depends upon PantriApp's communication schedule, product releases, promotional campaigns, and the user's communication preferences.
PantriApp makes reasonable efforts to communicate with users in a responsible and respectful manner. We strive to avoid excessive or unnecessary messaging and periodically review our communication practices to help ensure that SMS communications remain relevant, appropriate, and consistent with user expectations.
Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS communications in accordance with your mobile carrier's messaging plan. Charges for text messaging, data usage, roaming, or other wireless services are determined solely by your mobile carrier. PantriApp does not impose additional fees for receiving SMS communications beyond any charges associated with your use of the Platform or your mobile carrier's service plan.
Because mobile carrier pricing varies, users are encouraged to review their wireless service agreement or contact their mobile carrier if they have questions regarding applicable message or data charges. PantriApp is not responsible for fees assessed by wireless carriers for the delivery or receipt of SMS communications.
By providing your mobile phone number and, where applicable, consenting to receive marketing SMS communications, you acknowledge that message frequency may vary and that standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's pricing policies.
PantriApp maintains records of SMS communication preferences to help demonstrate compliance with applicable messaging laws, wireless carrier requirements, industry standards, and internal governance policies. Maintaining accurate consent records allows PantriApp to honor user communication preferences while supporting transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
Consent records are maintained as part of the user's PantriApp account and may include information reasonably necessary to document a user's authorization to receive marketing SMS communications. Depending upon the communication method and applicable legal requirements, these records may include the user's consent status, communication preferences, consent method, opt-in source, opt-out history, and other information necessary to administer the PantriApp SMS program.
PantriApp maintains separate communication preferences for transactional SMS communications and marketing SMS communications. This distinction helps ensure that users who withdraw consent for marketing communications continue to receive only those transactional communications necessary to support their account, requested household services, security, or other operational activities permitted by applicable law.
Communication preference records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the SMS program, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, demonstrate regulatory compliance, enforce applicable agreements, and support legitimate business purposes consistent with PantriApp's Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
PantriApp periodically reviews communication preference records to help identify inconsistencies, investigate reported communication issues, improve operational accuracy, and verify that marketing SMS campaigns continue to honor each user's communication preferences. Where errors are identified, PantriApp will make reasonable efforts to investigate and correct them promptly.
PantriApp does not alter, fabricate, or manipulate consent records to facilitate the delivery of marketing SMS communications. Communication preferences are administered according to the user's documented consent status and applicable legal requirements.
By maintaining comprehensive communication preference records, PantriApp seeks to ensure that users remain in control of their SMS preferences while providing appropriate documentation to support regulatory compliance, carrier requirements, internal audits, and continuous improvement of the Platform's communication practices.
PantriApp recognizes that a user's mobile phone number is personal information and is committed to protecting it through responsible collection, use, storage, and disclosure practices. Mobile phone numbers collected by PantriApp are used only for the purposes described in this SMS Consent Policy, the PantriApp Privacy Policy, and other applicable legal agreements governing the Platform.
Mobile phone numbers are collected only when voluntarily provided by the user during account registration, account updates, service bookings, or other authorized interactions with the Platform. PantriApp does not collect mobile phone numbers through deceptive practices or purchase mobile phone numbers from third-party marketing lists for use in SMS campaigns.
PantriApp does not sell, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise disclose users' mobile phone numbers to third parties for their own advertising, solicitation, or independent marketing purposes. Mobile phone numbers are shared only with trusted service providers and technology partners when reasonably necessary to deliver SMS communications or operate the Platform on PantriApp's behalf and only in accordance with applicable contractual, legal, and privacy obligations.
Access to mobile phone numbers is limited to authorized personnel, systems, and service providers with a legitimate business need to support Platform operations, customer communications, account security, or regulatory compliance. PantriApp implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect mobile phone numbers against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Mobile phone numbers are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to administer user accounts, provide requested services, maintain communication preferences, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support legitimate business purposes consistent with PantriApp's Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Users remain in control of how their mobile phone number is used for communications through the communication preference tools available within their PantriApp account. Users may update their mobile phone number, modify SMS communication preferences, withdraw marketing consent, or request assistance regarding SMS communications at any time through the methods described in this Policy.
PantriApp periodically reviews its data handling practices to help ensure that mobile phone numbers continue to be managed in a manner consistent with applicable privacy laws, wireless carrier requirements, industry standards, and PantriApp's commitment to protecting user information.
PantriApp recognizes that compliance with SMS messaging laws, wireless carrier requirements, and industry standards is an ongoing operational responsibility rather than a one-time implementation. Accordingly, PantriApp maintains internal governance practices designed to promote the lawful, responsible, and transparent use of SMS communications throughout the Platform.
PantriApp periodically reviews its SMS communication program to help verify that marketing messages are delivered only to users who have provided appropriate consent, that communication preferences are accurately maintained, and that opt-out requests continue to be honored in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Internal reviews may include evaluations of consent records, communication workflows, messaging templates, enrollment procedures, delivery practices, communication preference management, customer support requests, and other operational processes associated with the administration of PantriApp's SMS program. Where opportunities for improvement are identified, PantriApp may implement corrective actions designed to strengthen compliance, improve transparency, and enhance the user experience.
PantriApp also reviews changes to applicable federal and state laws, wireless carrier requirements, messaging industry standards, and privacy regulations to help ensure that the Platform's SMS communication practices continue to evolve alongside changing legal and operational expectations.
Personnel responsible for administering customer communications are expected to follow PantriApp's documented communication policies, consent requirements, and internal operational procedures. PantriApp seeks to promote consistent communication practices across all customer-facing messaging channels, including SMS, email, and in-app communications.
If PantriApp becomes aware of an issue affecting SMS communications, including potential consent errors, delivery irregularities, communication preference discrepancies, or reported compliance concerns, the Company will make reasonable efforts to investigate the matter, implement appropriate corrective measures, and reduce the likelihood of similar issues occurring in the future.
PantriApp believes that effective compliance requires continuous improvement. As the Platform expands, new household services are introduced, messaging technologies evolve, or regulatory expectations change, PantriApp may update its communication practices, internal controls, and governance procedures to maintain a high standard of operational integrity and consumer protection.
PantriApp is committed to operating its SMS communication program in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, wireless carrier requirements, and recognized industry standards governing text messaging communications. As communication technologies, privacy regulations, and messaging requirements continue to evolve, PantriApp is committed to reviewing and updating its SMS practices as appropriate to maintain ongoing compliance.
PantriApp's SMS communication program is designed to support compliance with applicable requirements under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, wireless carrier messaging requirements, and applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and other applicable privacy and consumer protection laws as they are enacted or amended.
Compliance with these laws and standards requires more than obtaining user consent. PantriApp is committed to maintaining transparent communication practices, honoring user communication preferences, protecting personal information, maintaining appropriate documentation, and operating its messaging program in a manner that promotes fairness, accountability, and consumer trust.
PantriApp works with trusted technology providers and messaging service providers to facilitate SMS communications on behalf of the Platform. While these providers support message delivery, PantriApp remains responsible for the administration of its communication practices, the management of user consent, and compliance with applicable legal and contractual obligations governing SMS communications.
If regulatory guidance, wireless carrier policies, or industry best practices change, PantriApp may revise its SMS communication procedures, operational controls, consent mechanisms, or internal governance practices to maintain continued compliance and improve the overall user experience. Such updates will be implemented in a manner consistent with applicable legal requirements and the principles described throughout this Policy.
PantriApp believes that responsible communication practices are an essential component of maintaining user confidence. Compliance is not viewed as a static legal obligation, but as an ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, consumer protection, and continuous operational improvement.
PantriApp reserves the right to modify, revise, or update this SMS Consent Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulatory guidance, wireless carrier requirements, messaging technologies, Platform functionality, business practices, or operational procedures. As the Platform evolves, PantriApp may expand or modify its communication practices while remaining committed to transparency, user choice, and regulatory compliance.
When material changes are made to this Policy, PantriApp will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users through one or more appropriate communication channels. Depending upon the nature of the update, notification may be provided through email, transactional SMS communications where permitted by law, in-application notifications, prominent notices within the Platform, or by updating the effective date displayed at the beginning of this Policy.
Material changes may include revisions to the methods by which SMS consent is obtained, the categories of SMS communications delivered, user communication preferences, supported SMS commands, applicable legal disclosures, or other provisions that materially affect a user's rights or PantriApp's communication practices.
PantriApp will not use revisions to this Policy to retroactively expand marketing communications beyond the scope of a user's previously provided consent. Where applicable law requires new or additional consent before implementing certain communication practices, PantriApp will obtain such consent before sending those communications.
Users are encouraged to review this SMS Consent Policy periodically to remain informed about how PantriApp manages SMS communications, communication preferences, and consent practices. The "Last Updated" date displayed at the beginning of this Policy identifies the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any updates to this Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree with a material revision, you may discontinue use of SMS communications by exercising the communication preferences and opt-out options described throughout this Policy.
PantriApp welcomes questions, comments, and requests regarding this SMS Consent Policy and our SMS communication practices. We are committed to responding to inquiries in a timely manner and helping users understand their communication preferences, consent options, and rights relating to SMS communications.
Users who have questions regarding SMS communications, wish to update their communication preferences, need assistance with an opt-in or opt-out request, believe they have received an SMS message in error, or have concerns regarding this Policy are encouraged to contact PantriApp using the information provided below.
PantriApp reviews SMS-related inquiries as part of its ongoing commitment to transparency, customer service, regulatory compliance, and continuous operational improvement. PantriApp appreciates the trust our customers, service providers, and community place in our Platform.
